What's New?

• I am beginning a series of Progressive Vocal Techniques™ workshops planned for Summer/Fall 2009. The first will be on Breathing for Singers. Please see page tab below for more information.
• On Saturday 01/17/09, at California State University, Fullerton, I attended a workshop "The Voice and Movement Connection" that was given by Joan Melton, hosted by Actor Fitness.

  "This one-day course uses Pilates, Suzuki, yoga and dance to explore the whole physical/vocal instrument."

• I just completed Elisabeth Howard's Vocal Power(TM) 8-week workshop in Topanga (Los Angeles), CA. (Jan-Mar 2008) She is a master voice teacher and these workshops are great for students as well as new and established teachers.  Whatever your level or style as a singer or teacher, Liz is there to help.

•  I Just added a new page on this site for singers to ask me technical questions about the voice. 
• I completed Lisa Popeil's three-day Belting and Commercial Vocal Techniques workshop Belt Your Way to the Top. Held in Pleasant Hill, CA., from August 2-5, 2007.
• Teacher Training Courses: Private lessons in vocal pedagogy and techniques for teachers or furture teachers of singing. See link.  
• My Master's thesis Classical and Non-Classical Singing Techniques: Selecting and Integrating Strengths of Each Approach is published and available for circulation at the California State University, Los Angeles library .
• I am in the process of writing my new book on vocal techniques titled Smarter Singers, Smarter Singing.
