• Congratulations to my student, who just turned 15, on your performance last night at the Whisky A Go-Go! Not many adult lead singers can say they performed at the Whisky.(Summer 2012)

• Congratulations to the actor/singer I'm working with on finishing recording (early!) in the studio for the sound track for the movie she’s also starring in. (7/11/12)                                                                      

• Congratulations to the student I’m working with in a group class for getting past the first round audition today for American Idol! (6/07/12)

• Congratulations to [a singer I worked with] on getting a Grammy nomination!   (2/20/12)

• Congratulations to [a singer I worked with] on getting on The Voice and getting that great singer as a mentor. Good luck! Now I have worked with singers that have been on American Idol and The Voice. (2/2012)

• Attended Dr. Donald Miller’s two-day workshop based on his book, Resonance in Singing: Voice Building through Acoustic Feedback. Loyola Marymount University (6-7 July 2011).
• Completed the Lessac-Madsen Resonant Voice Therapy credential. Practitioners of LMRVT include licensed speech-language pathologist, and vocal arts teachers (the category I am in) such as speech and acting coaches and singing teachers. Check out LARVT's site at: http://multivoicedimensions.org and their "Who may benefit" link.  
• Attended an all-day symposium, at Los Angeles Valley College, hosted by NATS-LA, on February 6th. Master Musical Theater and Contemporary Commercial voice teacher, David Sabela-Mills (New York), presented techniques in breath management, Mixed Belt and Super Belt, amound many other related topics. It was great to see how far we are comming in vocal pedagogy and performance at the university level. Makes all the hard work many of us have put in for years to bring modern vocal pedagogy and performance to the university worth it! Mr. Sabela-Mills was what I expect from a modern voice teacher.
• 1 1/2 hour lessons added for the professional singer, voice teacher, and students wanting to get a more complete lesson. Aslo for voice teachers traing to be Progressive Vocal Techiques certified. For many, one-hour lessons are just not enough!
• SKYPE lessons are being added. 
• I am beginning a series of Progressive Vocal Techniques™ workshops. The first will be on Breathing for Singers. Please see page tab below for more information.
• On Saturday 01/17/09, at California State University, Fullerton, I attended a workshop "The Voice and Movement Connection" that was given by Joan Melton, hosted by Actor Fitness.

  "This one-day course uses Pilates, Suzuki, yoga and dance to explore the whole physical/vocal instrument."

• I just completed Elisabeth Howard's Vocal Power(TM) 8-week workshop in Topanga (Los Angeles), CA. (Jan-Mar 2008) She is a master voice teacher and these workshops are great for students as well as new and established teachers.  Whatever your level or style as a singer or teacher, Liz is there to help.

• Popeil's three-day Belting and Commercial Vocal Techniques workshop Belt Your Way to the Top. Held in Pleasant Hill, CA., from August 2-5, 2007.
• Teacher Training Courses: Private lessons in vocal pedagogy and techniques for teachers or furture teachers of singing. See link.
